After making award winning shorts with Robert Hardy and Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin's Directorial feature Film Debut "TRAVELLER", was released in the UK by Metrodome in early 2014 in Cinemas, DVD (Tesco, Morrisons and HMV) and VOD platforms (Blinkbox, Film 4 and itunes). It is also on nationwide release in the USA. Available in Walmart on DVD and VOD and on Amazon and Amazon Prime.

"THE MUD HUT" will be Benjamin's second feature film starring Oscar Nominated Taraji P Henson, Andie Mac Dowell, Vincent Kartheiser and other names TBC. "The Mud Hut" is a drama with comedy elements. "Amaziah lives in a predominantly white area. She misses home and decides to build a full scale traditional MUD HUT in her small garden, much to the dislike of her white middle aged neighbours."

In the summer of 2015 Benjamin Johns Directed a major new documentary about a revered Aboriginal Elder - Uncle Max Harrison of the Yuin Nation NSW Australia, which is now in post production.

Benjamin has served on the board of the NPA, is an active member of BAFTA and BECTU and has successfully completed the North by Northwest and Arista script development programmes. Benjamin is an active voting nominee member of BAFTA.
